**Amilia Online Portal - We will be launching a new online portal system called Amilia. Amilia is an online software that offers registration, online credit/debit payments, scheduling, and much more. It is available as a downloadable application through the App Store (iPhone) or the PlayStore (Android) as well as on a laptop or desktop computer. As we all become familiar with Amilia, EDC Co-Director Anna Matney will be available to help walk you through any questions or issues you may have. Feel free to contact her at anna.edc.comp@gmail.com, or stop in to the on-site dance store at EDC during open hours. All dancers at EDC and athletes at Eagle X will be required to set up an Amilia account prior to attending classes, open tumbling, or drop-in classes beginning on September 8th. Payments can still be made by cash or check in the on-site store or payment boxes at EDC. Teachers/Coaches are NOT authorized to accept payments, register students, nor do they have access to tuition information. 

Amilia should be up and running to accept registrations by August 31st. You will find a button on our webpage that will lead you to our Amilia account, as well as a Facebook posting as soon as it is up and running. 

Eagle Dance Center/Eagle Xplosion’s on-site store/reception location will be open the following dates and times PRIOR to season start for help setting up your Amilia account.

**Nimbly Online Attire Store - We will be launching an online dance store through Revolution Dancewear’s Nimbly. We will still have our physical store location at the dance studio, but with launching our Nimbly store, dancers will have the opportunity to order and receive new dance shoes, attire, and tights prior to the season start as we are unable to hold our annual Open House and Registration event. Items ordered through Nimbly will be delivered to the studio and passed out the first week of classes. 

When you visit the Nimbly Online Store, you will find class breakdowns of required and optional items. The required shoes for each class are listed as well as options for attire. ALL shoes, tights, and attire need to be purchased either through the Nimbly Online store, or in our physical store location at Eagle Dance Center. This is to ensure your dancer is learning and performing in the correct shoe for their age and discipline, dress code is uniform, and tights are uniform for performances. There are MANY options for attire listed under each class. Nimbly has instructions on how to properly measure for shoes, tights, and attire.

**EDC/EAGLE X Store/Reception Location - Our on-site store/reception will be open the following days/times each week through the season beginning on September 8, 2020. The store will be open for shoes/attire purchases, tuition payments, tumbling check ins, or help with Amilia.

**New EDC Class Offerings - Contemporary style classes will be offered for Intermediate and Advanced level dancers. Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet

 

Leaps/Turns classes will be offered for Intermediate and Advanced level dancers. Leaps/Turns classes is an additional skill class that is recommended to dancers looking to strengthen their technique and focus on more advanced leaps and turns. Students can register for Leaps & Turns as a monthly class (follows tuition policies, best deal) or can be purchased as a “Drop-In” class through Amilia for $10.00 per class attended.

 

Strength & Fitness classes will be offered for ages 11-14 and 15 and up. Strength & Fitness classes are available to all, including non-dancers or non-tumbling/cheerleading athletes, and parents of dancers/athletes. Individuals can register for Strength & Conditioning as a monthly class (follows tuition policies, best deal) or can be purchased as a “Drop-In” class through Amilia for $10.00 per class attended.

**Eagle Xplosion Tumbling/Cheerleading -Please visit the Eagle X tab on our website that will lead you to fees, policies, etc related to tumbling, pom, and cheerleading classes. Beginning September 8, 2020 - ALL athletes attending Open Tumbling sessions or classes at Eagle Xplosion MUST check in at the EDC Store or be pre-registered through Amilia prior to entering the gym. If an athlete is not on the coach's attendance list, they will be asked to check in to the store. Coaches are NOT authorized to accept payments or register athletes.

Parents are asked not to wait in the gym or hallway directly outside of the gym for their child. Being inside of the gym is very distracting to the students and coaches and tumbling requires full attention from both the athlete and coach for the safety of both. The hallway directly outside of the gym is a public hallway, and we have been asked to not have parents congregating.

**New Eagle X Class Offerings - We are excited to announce the addition of Dance Pom/Kick to Eagle X this season, offered ages 6-18! Poms will be required for this class, and will be available to order at our on-site store the first week of classes.

 Intro to All Star classes will be offered ages 5-18. No experience is needed for Dance Pom/Kick or Intro to All Star classes. We are hopeful to start All Star Cheerleading and Competitive Pom/Kick teams by May 2021. These classes will be a great introduction to athletes that may have an interest in participating.
