• At your time of enrollment, you will receive an email with a full studio handbook, containing all studio policies, detailed information, and more. This is also available to download through our Parent Portal after enrollment, should the email be lost or deleted.

General Policies

​

It is our promise to respond to all inquiries - and we will never leave a question unanswered. Our friendly staff can be contacted at 419-210-4153 by text message or phone call.

 

• We hold a “Closed Practice” policy at EDC. All parents have the option of waiting in the main lobby or simply dropping off and picking up your student. This closed practice policy is to eliminate all distractions and interruptions – we do not allow parents or visitors in the classrooms during class, with the exception of Parent Observation Weeks.

• Weather Cancellation policy remains as follows: classes will NOT automatically cancel when Galion City Schools close. If classes are cancelled due to weather, email communication will be sent, as well as posting on our Facebook Page and in our private BAND group.

• For the convenience of both our staff and our families, our primary means of communication is via email. You will receive regular newsletters and important information via email after enrollment, so please ensure you have provided us with an up-to-date email address that is regularly checked.

• All classes: Hair is to be secured completely back and out of the face in a bun, ponytail, or braid. We recommend avoiding large hair bows/hair barrettes along with high ponytails/buns for tumbling due to activity in class.

• Dance classes: Attire may be purchased through our website or in our boutique, tights and shoes must be purchased through our website or in our boutique to ensure consistency in color and style for recital.

• Tumbling classes: Shoes and attire can be purchased through our boutique, but is not required.

All Tumbling (Tiny, 1/2/3, MS/HS/Open Gym & Superhero)

Attire:Tight fitting athletic clothing, leotard, athletic tank top, leggings and shorts, athletic sports bra

Footwear: Barefoot, dance/cheerleading/athletic shoes depending on desired execution of skills. No socks.

Cheerleading (Grades 1-6)

Attire:Tight fitting athletic clothing, leotard, athletic tank top, leggings and shorts, athletic sports bra

Footwear: Cheerleading/Athletic shoes for INDOOR use ONLY.

Creative Movement (Ages 3-4)

Attire:Any color. GIRLS-Leotard, pink or tan leggings BOYS-Dance shirt, athletic shorts/pants

Footwear: For Ballet:Leather full-sole ballet shoe (Girls pink, Boys black) For Tap:black velcro student tap shoes

Optional: Dance skirt, leggings, crop sweater, dance shorts, leg warmers

Pom 1,2,3 (Age 6-12th Grade)

Attire:Tight fitting athletic clothing; leotard, athletic tank top, sports bra, athletic shorts, leggings.

Musical Theater 1&2 (Ages 5-7)

Attire:Light pink or black. GIRLS: Leotard, pink or tan tights. BOYS: Dance shirt, athletic shorts/pants

Optional:Black,Light Pink, Lavender: dance skirt, crop sweater, dance shorts, leg warmers.

Footwear:Black and white shoes for INDOOR use ONLY. Should be at least 75% black in color, only WHITE in additional color for consistency in recital

Ballet 3/4 (Age 11-8th Grade)

Attire:Light blue or black. GIRLS: Leotard, pink or tan tights. BOYS: Dance shirt, athletic shorts/pants
